We searched for only small boutique shops in all the countryside places we visited as well. I wanted to be sure I bought from local artisans. I can buy made in China anywhere…
Florence lost its artisans and uniqueness because it seems under occupation of chain brands. Every corner every street. Sephora zara hm high end brands etc. Sorry it is not the maas tourism but that capitalism. I was there a few weeks ago. It was my second trip. I love florence but this situation kills..
